St Andrew’s Day

Where: Countrywide but especially in Scotland
When: 30th November
Time: All day

St Andrew is the patron saint of Scotland and 30th November is his feast day. The Saint’s Saltire flag is flown ( he is said to have been martyred on an X-shaped cross) and parties are held around the country. The nearest Monday is a Bank Holiday in Scotland (not the rest of the UK).
