Fathers Day is a relatively recent addition to the UK calendar of events and is celebrated on the third Sunday in June. Cards and gifts are given in a similar way to Mothers Day earlier in the year – it seems only fair that Dads should have a special day, too- and lots of visitor attractions and eateries have special Dad themed activities and promotions.
