Where: | Countrywide but especially in Scotland |
When: | 30th November |
Time: | All day |
St Andrew is the patron saint of Scotland and 30th November is his feast day. The Saint’s Saltire flag is flown ( he is said to have been martyred on an X-shaped cross) and parties are held around the country. The nearest Monday is a Bank Holiday in Scotland (not the rest of the UK).
