Where: | Llanwrtyd Wells, Powys from the Town Square |
When: | A Saturday in mid-November |
Time: | 9 am - 1pm |
This event comes from the same stable as bog-snorkelling, being introduced to the calendar by Gordon Green, inventor of new and unusual activities. The Real Ale Wobble is associated with the concurrent Mid-Wales Beer Festival and is basically a very arduous pub-crawl on foot or by bicycle over about 30 miles. The courses alter annually but are always through beautiful steep countryside with stops for beer consumption – it’s more of an endurance course than a competition.
