| Where: | Glastonbury, Somerset on the High Street |
| When: | 31st October or near date |
| Time: | 4.30pm (see Helpful Hints) |
There are many opportunities to dress up for Hallowe’en all over the country, with fancy dress parties, trick or treating and costume competitions galore, but as far as I know the only place with a mass participation Zombie Walk is Glastonbury in Somerset. It’s a charity fundraising event for Children’s World- taking part is free of charge but donations by bucket collection on the night are gratefully accepted. Drummers, morris dancers, dragons and the Town Crier are all likely to be in attendance and all ages are invited to participate by dressing up as the undead and processing down the High Street, moaning and groaning as they go. Expect plenty of ghoulish ghastliness, lots of fake blood and spooky shenanigans!
Helpful Hints
In 2026 it should be on Saturday 31st October- time to be confirmed. The time varies a little from year to year depending on which day it falls upon, and while in recent years it’s been on Hallowe’en itself, in the past the day has varied through the latter part of October. In 2025 it was at 4.30 pm.
Plenty of parking is easily available behind the High Street.
